Every thread of Kontex's Graph towel collection down to the name tag, are made from organic materials. The yarn is 100% organic cotton, and the gauze is coloured with natural botanical dyes. The charcoal range is dyed with bamboo charcoal. The beautiful natural pigments make for a gentle, natural feel. One side is soft, light, and breathable gauze that is gentle on the skin and becomes softer and fluffier the more you use it. The back is made of pile with excellent water absorption due to its large surface area.

The Face Cloth is so soft, naturally, without need for fabric softeners. It has been pre-washed, slowly over time with the filtered water of the Ishizuchi Mountains. The manufacturing process minimises damage to the material, so the soft texture lasts longer than regular towels, which is also the secret to their popularity. Designed with a convenient loop for easy handing. Made in Japan.

How to use

Machine wash with cold water and mild detergent. No bleach or fabric softeners. Hang or tumble dry on low.

Kontex

Since 1934, Kontex has been crafting high-quality towels in Imabari, Japan. Over the years the company has perfected the secret to producing towels with exemplary softness. Each towel is made from fine, garment quality thread that’s loosely twisted for the highest level of softness. Such threads would break on modern weaving machines, thus Kontex towels are gently woven on traditional, low-speed machines to maintain the integrity of the thread and achieve a level of softness that modern machines cannot produce. Kontex's production undertakes a meticulous cleansing process whereby each item is carefully washed with fresh spring water sourced from the melted snow of beautiful Mt. Ishizuchi. This process ensures every thread is free from impurities.
