Protect your skin with the power of organic brown rice and fermentation. This Natural Facial Soap is made to be used by everyone, and is suitable for delicate and sensitive skin. Made in Japan from organic fermented rice lees containing natural ceramides and amino acids with antioxidant, anti-aging and hyaluronic acid retention effects. The result is a soap that reduces blemishes, soothes inflammation and delivers moisture where it's needed most. Fermenstation soaps are unscented and feature the subtle natural aroma of rice.
Formulated with organic rice lees born of a natural, yeast-based fermentation process that yields high levels of skin-supporting nutrients, such as vitamin E, arbutin and ferulic acid. The rice is cultivated on fallow land in Oshu City, Japan. The rice lees are combined via a cold press process with carefully selected, high quality sunflower oil. The sunflowers are grown in Oshu via a local circulation project where egg-laying hens that feed on the leftover rice lees from production, produce organic fertiliser for sunflower crops. The seeds are harvested by hand and squeezed in a local oil workshop. Made in Japan.

How to use
Can be used for the face or body. Each bar lasts 2-3 months when used for facial cleansing only, or about 1 month when used for washing the entire body.

Because this soap is handmade using natural materials, there may be slight variations in color or shape, but these do not affect the product's quality. Store in a cool and dry environment out of direct sunlight.

Fermenstation is the beginning and the next generation in sustainable agriculture. In former Izawa Town, (now known as Oshu City, Japan) high-yield rice is cultivated in fallow fields, without pesticides or chemical fertiliser. The rice becomes ethanol via a process of fermenting and distilling and the remaining fermented by-product is used as raw materials for Fermenstation's products. The remaining fermented lees are fed to livestock, and their manure is used as fertiliser for the rice fields in a sustainable, circular system. This project revives the traditional rural landscape and connects new industries.
