CARTHUSIA 'Primavera Caprese' Perfume Discovery Set - Value $210
$145.00
Walk through the streets of Capri in the company of the intoxicating scents of classic Mediterranean flowers. This trio presents an unforgettable olfactory experience enclosed in three floral fragrances in travel sized roll-on format. Included are Fiori di Capri, Gelsomini di Capri, and Tuberosa.
Fiori di Capri was the very first Carthusia fragrance. The refined floral notes deriving from the lily of the valley and wild carnation blend together with the enigmatic allure of sandalwood, ylang-ylang and oak. Gelsomini di Capri (Jasmine of Capri) offers delicate, sweet and fruity notes merged together in a fragrance that is both fresh and persistent at the same time.A perfume inspired by jasmine that evokes, like a spell, the magic of an Island unique the world over. Meanwhile Tuberosa epitomises the heady and seductive character of tuberose. Here as the absolute protagonist, it blends beautifully with the sunnypassion of ylang-ylang and cinnamon. A chiaroscuro mix of emotions mitigated into the deeper and warm base notes of vetiver, vanilla, ambroxan and musk. Made in Italy.
Carthusia is exclusively distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Saison.

About Carthusia
About Carthusia
Capri, the Italian island of dreams has been an enchanting oasis since Roman times. Its natural beauty, sunny climate and innate glamour are legendary. In 1380 the Father Prior of the Monastery of St. Giacomo made Queen Giovanna D’ Angio’ a flower arrangement with the most beautiful island flowers. The water was not changed for three days, and the Prior noticed that the water had acquired a beautiful fragrance. This became the first perfume of Capri. Forgotten and re-discovered in 1948, the Monastery with permission of the Pope, revealed the recipe to a chemist, who created the smallest fragrance laboratory in the world and called it ‘Carthusia’. Today the perfume tradition continues and limited production ensures the same methods used by the Carthusian monks are respected.
