Boy Smells Les is a downtown exploration of dark berries, bergamot and flora. The acronym for one of New York City’s most vibrant cross-cultural neighbourhoods.. Lower East Side. Picking up on notes of rice powder, peach blossom, cardamom, cedar and pear, to name just a few of its many notes, much like the bodega and wholesale food suppliers synonymous with the area. All in all, this scent is an unexpected, abundant, cross-cultural, olfactive exploration that reaches far beyond the binary.

Boy Smells candles are made with a coconut and beeswax blend, featuring braided cotton wick. Les comes in a glossy black glass tumbler within an embossed matte pink box. These candles won't self-care themselves, be sure to take the time to learn the recommended candle care. Hand poured in California, USA.

Boy Smells is exclusively distributed in Australia & New Zealand by Saison. .

Candle Care

These Candles Won’t Self-Care Themselves. Here is a quick guide to maximising your candle experience.

Step 01: Trim
Prior to each lighting, trim the wick to 1/4” for a clean and smoke free burn. Consider using the Boy Smells Wick Trimmer. Also, always protect the surface on which the candle sits.

Step 02: Burn
On your first light, allow the entire surface of wax to melt — Minimum of 3 hours. There will be some “wax wall hanging,” but that’s normal. After the first burn with wax melted to the edge of candle vessel, never let it burn for more than 4 hours. Discontinue use when there is only 1/4" wax left in the vessel.

Step 03: Center
Ensure the wick is centered. After each burn, adjust the wick while the wax is still molten.

Step 04: Upcycle
When a 1/4” to 1/2" of wax is left in your candle, it’s time to discontinue use and upcycle the glass. Always remove the remaining wax. Pro cleaning tip — put the candle in the freezer until the wax is frozen, then said wax should pop out easily.
